About me
I think that the advantage of being self taught primarily, and painting in small scale mixed media canvases, and collages has given me the flexibility to experiment with concepts my work feels connected to the broader lineage of Haitian artist, especially in the way that I draw on the environment. “There’s a clear dialogue” I would say ” with Haitian artist like Hector Hyppolite, whose work also carries an intuitive, almost spiritual relationship to nature and symbolism.
